About us

The research consortium

Our team is made up of scientists from the fields of medicine, psychology and neuroscience. We bring together expertise from adult and child and adolescent psychiatry with the latest findings from psychotherapy research. Our goal is to support particularly stressed parents and parents with a mental illness with regard to the relationship with their child (s) and to strengthen the ability to recognize the needs of the children and to react appropriately to them. That is why we want to examine the effectiveness of two training courses to strengthen parental care behavior and further develop existing support offers such as “early help” through special training for employees.
